�����鱨վ

Section 44 of the Age Discrimination Act 2004 (Cth) (the Age Discrimination Act) gives the �����鱨վ (the Commission) the power to grant temporary exemptions from certain provisions of the Age Discrimination Act. Section 44 of the Age Discrimination Act provides as follows:

The Commission has a discretion whether to apply for an interim injunction. The Commission will exercise this discretion to apply for an injunction in limited circumstances.

The �����鱨վ Act 1986 (Cth) (AHRC Act) provides that one of the functions of the Commission is to examine enactments for the purpose of ascertaining whether the enactments are inconsistent with or contrary to any human right.
