It Stops with Me campaign and the Sharing the Stories of Australian Muslims project. As part of a small team, the Project Officer will contribute to the key activities of the Race Discrimination Commissioner, including by leading designated projects and activities. DUTIES Lead the design, development and implementation of projects of the Race Discrimination Team including public awareness campaigns. Prepare written communications including: project documents such as stakeholder maps, project plans and evaluation and monitoring frameworks consultation documentation including issues papers and discussion papers project sub-sites complex correspondence, speeches, submissions and briefings for the Race Discrimination Commissioner and Director and material for publication and other materials as required. Undertake research, conduct consultations, analyse policy and prepare reports and associated materials. Liaise with and provide support to Racism. It Stops With Me campaign partners and supporters and, where relevant, expert advisory groups. Work collegiately with internal stakeholders across the Commission to achieve the strategic goals of the Commission, and in the development and delivery of key Commission priorities. Attend consultative and other meetings, conferences and seminars and represent the Commission as required, including participating in the public awareness/education and promotional work of the Commission. Where relevant, supervise staff and interns in the conduct of research, preparation of materials and project support activities. Other duties consistent with the above as directed.
