Manage and lead the international engagement & BHR team in meeting the strategic goals of the Commission and delivering timely, relevant materials of a high standard. Manage and lead multiple large-scale international human rights programs and projects, such as Human Rights Technical Cooperation Programs, with competing deliverables and deadlines including resource management. Manage and coordinate, as well as contribute to, the conduct of research, policy development and planning activities of the team, including: Identifying strategic opportunities for expanding the Commissions engagement; Providing advice on topical key human rights issues internationally and in the BHR context domestically and internationally; Advising on monitoring and evaluation processes; Providing advice on Australias Aid Program developments and priorities; Developing other supporting documents including discussion papers, speeches and submissions. Manage the resources of the international engagement and BHR team and effectively supervise staff in a fluid environment where resources may be allocated across teams and work on concurrent projects may have overlapping deadlines. Collaborate with the Senior Executives, other policy teams and cross Commission teams in the development and delivery of key Commission priorities.
