Undertake factual and other research tasks under the direction of, and in consultation with, the Commissioner, the Manager and/or the Adviser. Draft correspondence, speech notes and multi-media presentations for the Commissioner and provide electronic messaging on behalf of the Commissioner through social media. Provide budget support to the Commissioner, including processing paperwork, maintaining and acquiring office supplies, and reconciling accounts. Work collegiately with other members of the executive support team and other internal stakeholders across the Commission in the planning, administration and conduct of the teams work and in the development and delivery of the Commissions identified goals and priorities. Other duties as directed. SELECTION CRITERIA: Ability to provide high level executive/administrative support and to work flexibly and collegiately in a team environment. Good organisational and administrative skills including technology/computer skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities and to meet deadlines. Demonstrated capacity to undertake research tasks. Demonstrated capacity for and confidence in using a range of social media platforms. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and effectively, for a wide range of audiences and in various styles. Sound oral communication skills, including the ability to : - liaise confidently with politicians, senior officials, members of the legal profession communicate sensitively and effectively with people from a range of backgrounds.
