Undertake less complex research tasks under the direction of, and in consultation with, the Age Discrimination Commissioner and members of the Age Discrimination Team. Draft correspondence, speech notes and speeches under the direction of the Age Discrimination Commissioner and members of the Age Discrimination Team. Arrange meetings, conferences and interviews and provide a secretariat function as required. Provide budget support to the Commissioner and Principal Adviser, including processing paperwork, maintaining and acquiring office supplies, and reconciling accounts. Other duties as directed. SELECTION CRITERIA: Ability to provide high level executive/administrative support and to work flexibly and collegiately in a team environment. Good organisational and administrative skills including technology/computer skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities and to meet deadlines. Demonstrated capacity to undertake research tasks. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and effectively, for a wide range of audiences and in various styles.
