Functions of the ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ
The Native Title Act 1993 requires the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner to report to federal Parliament each year on the operation of the Act and its impact on the human rights of Indigenous people. -

Former Sex Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick
Elizabeth Broderick was appointed for a five year term as Sex Discrimination Commissioner in September 2007. The term was extended to September 2015. She was also the Commissioner responsible for Age Discrimination from September 2007 until July 2011.
